When Warner met Bruni
Rob Warner grabs current World Champion Loïc Bruni for a chat about all things 2016 World Cup
The 2015 season was undoubtedly the breakthrough year for Frenchman Loïc Bruni on the downhill circuit. After three years riding as a senior, ‘Brownie’ fulfilled his indubitable talent by coming away as the World Champion on an incredible day in Vallnord in September.
Add four second-placed finishes over the course of the World Cup season and a second-place overall on the World Cup than that’s a pretty good return.
We sent our man Rob Warner down to Loïc’s hometown of Cagnes-Sur-Mer in the south of France to hear about the World Champion’s hopes for the 2016 World Cup and reflect on that win in Vallnord.
