Southern Enduro Rd#1 – Milland – Exclusive Course Preview

Starting a fresh is harder than it looks…. The Southern Enduro Team have proven to everyone that they mean business over the winter, firstly with the announcement of the new Southern based series and secondly digging a whole new venue from an untouched, unused hillside in a small rural village called Milland. This happens to be my home village where i grew up so the whole thing is quite a big deal for me.

Round 1 is set to be a great race with 4 technical and physical stages on the famous Milland ‘Brown Pow’. Each stage has something for everyone from beginner to expert, and the trails get harder the faster you ride them.

Expect flowing single track, tight switchbacks, off camber corners, jumps, some pedaling, and a whole load of fun racing.

When a race is put on by riders you know its going to be good…. Scott and his team have really put in the hours for this race and it shows with 4 great tracks that should provide some testing and tight racing. With a large car park and Pit area full of trade stands, food and riders all that is left to do is to prey for sunshine and dusty trails on the day.
