“The annual Red Bull Foxhunt took place at the Cave Hill Country Park, Belfast, over the weekend where amateur mountain bikers got the chance to race against one of the world’s best, Gee Atherton.

In a role-reversal, the Foxhunt is a unique race in which downhill world champ Gee Atherton, ‘the fox’, was released just after the 100 ‘hounds’, eliminating each one as he passed down the 5.3km enduro track. Only one rider managed to outrun the wiley Atherton on the mix of singletrack, fireroad and downhill sections, and that was Dublin native Greg Callaghan. Nukeproof sponsored rider Glyn O’Brien finished in third.”
