Monday Moto Vol. 96 – MXGP Crash Fest
Check out all the crashes from 2015’s MXGP season. There were plenty of them as the competition this year was tougher than in recent years and everyone wanted to taste some GP glory
Crashes are part of motocross, and the higher the speed, often the more spectacular the spill. So when the world’s fastest GP riders compete for a full season, you know there are going to be lots of spills and a few injuries – but hopefully none of them too nasty. And 2015 was a key year for spectacular offs and crashes that changed the fate of the season.
From Ryan Villopoto’s massive loop-out in Italy, to Tony Cairoli’s painfull spill in Valkenswaard – pictured above – to his title-losing injury in Italy, and the loads of spills that robbed Jeffrey Herlings of his title and cost Pauls Jonass his, plus unforgettable moments like Briton Ben Watson taking an early bath in the lake in Holland, it’s been a wild ride.
So check out the official GP crash video for non-stop action. We’d like to say nobody got hurt in these spills, but we all know that’s not true. But nobody got really seriously hurt, which is what matters.
