Danny Hart High Tech Fort William Run

Fatmap and TomTom hooked up to produce this seriously impressive video of Danny Hart taking a run down Fort William. Loads of a data and crazy accurate 3D map.

Over the last week we’ve worked Danny Hart ahead of the 2016 World Championship race to make a vid that gets fans closer to the action, by enhancing his Point-of-View footage with our ultra high-resolution 3D map.

We are long term fans of the Fort William course, one of the longest, toughest and roughest tracks on the world championship circuit, so decided to use FATMAP’s satellite technology to make a 3D digital model/map of the mountain & racing line available, that is accurate to 21cm.

The video uses Danny’s PoV footage, combined with the 3D map to give fans a closer experience of Danny’s ride, and see why Fort William has been voted the best event in the World for the past three consecutive years.
