Lazer Oasiz Helmet - First Look

We got our hands on a brand new Lazer Oasiz helmet. If aesthetics were the only benchmark for helmet rating, this one would be a winner.

If you want a helmet that looks right then you’ll be hard pressed to beat the Oasiz. It’s subtle tight shaping and large air vents give it a really smart aesthetic. Combine that with some of the brighter colour options and we’d say it’s one of the best looking helmets on the market right now. Beyond that it has some innovative features which sets it apart. Most notably is its use of a magnetic buckle on the chin strap. Admittedly this took some getting used to and it was hard on the first try to figure out how to clip it together. Once you have the knack though it is a really clever little design and effortlessly clips together thanks to the powerful magnets built into the clip.

The Rollsys Size adjuster is also a really nice feature that makes refining the fit to the back of your head really easy. A big roller placed on the top of the lid means that even with gloves it’s easy to make minor adjustments. The addition of the Multimount bracket is also a really welcome feature and means that sticking double sided tape and flappy straps to your helmet is no longer required should you want to mount a GoPro or Light. As bonus, in the box you get a range of mounts should you wish to fit lights or other POV cameras.
