Knolly Warden – First Look

Tom’s got a couple of weeks with his leg over Knolly’s 150mm trail bike, the Warden.

The Warden is Canadian company Knolly’s first forray into 275 wheels, and it’s clearly not a a step they’ve taken lightly. With a brand built on a pedigree of shredding, the Warden, and the brand spanking new composite Warden have a lot to live up to.

Our Warden has been built up by UK distributors Decade for us to have a couple of weeks of hard shredding on. Out of the box it’s a slick looking package with pretty much everything on it you’d hope for, though I’ll be sticking a dropper on, as this is a bike that’s billed to go up as well as it goes down.

Jumping aboard the feel of the bike is immediately familiar – low front end and slackness aplenty. A quick hack about has given a little flavour of the shreddable delights on offer, and I can’t wait to get some more loamy laps under the tyres.
