Bell Full9 Full Face DH Helmet – First Look

Bell produce helmets for all manor of sports, here we have a look at their MX inspired, “top of the heap”, full face mountain bike lid.

Bell have been designing motorsport helmets for years, with a long history in motocross. A lot of what they learn and engineer in their motorsport helmets trickles down to their mountain bike equivalents. This Full 9 carbon downhill helmet has been inspired by their award winning moto-9, along with input from both mountain bike and BMX champions.

Magnetic cheek pads are a good addition, they seem good and secure too.

Ride.Bell.Full9.CL-6
A tried and tested secure double r-ring chin strap, padded straps help the comfort factor.

The camera mount is removable and includes a breakaway attachment at the same time, a nice little touch to include both features.

I’ll be out and about giving this a (hopefully not too thorough) test over the coming weeks. Watch this space for a full write up coming soon.
