Ride.io Team Launch 2015

With just a few days to go until round 1 of the BDS this weekend, it’s time to launch the all-new Rideitout Team.

We had some amazing successes last year and we intend to build on that and become a legitimate force on the British Scene and start making some impact in the World Cups in 2015. This year we will be rocking Transition TR500 Frames as all of our racing focus will be on Downhill. We have seven riders from Elite to Youth in 2015 to make sure we push for podiums in all classes and nurture young up and coming talent. We’ll also have some of our team at rounds of the Pearce Downhill Series, IXS and World Cups.

The Team

Emyr Davies (Elite)
Emyr is an accomplished racer and a unique personality; he has now become a figurehead to our downhill team. Emyr has shown a vast progression race after race, which can be seen in his fantastic result at the 2014 Downhill National Championships. He will be racing Every DH World Cup in 2015.

Guy Gibbs (Elite)
• 30th place at the 2014 Canadian Open Downhill
• 60th place at the 2014 Mont Sainte Anne UCI Downhill World Cup

Fergus Ryan (Expert)
• 2014 Welsh Downhill Champion
• Shooting up through the BC ranks
• Aiming to break into the World Cup scene in 2015

Ben Nott (Expert)

• Studying Exercise & Sport Science at Cardiff University allows time for riding in fantastic locations.
• Natural talent, Ben has only been riding bikes for a few seasons.

Ant Jones (Expert)
• Keep an eye out for Ants Track Walk vids again in 2015.

Sam Boardman (Senior)
• As well as racing Sam will be writing for the site. Keep an eyes out for his product reviews and race reports.

Ollie Crosdil (Youth)
• Moving into his second year of Youth, he will be amongst the top riders of his category in 2015.
