We catch up Paul “Burf” Burford to find out what exciting products BTR have up their sleeves for 2013.

What is it, do you feel, that has made BTR such a great name in a short time?

Hmm I dunno, are we a great name already? Its pretty flattering that you think so! Maybe its because we are just two normal guys that love bikes, making bikes in a shed? Plus whats not to love about handmade in Britain? (the price maybe?)

What’s coming up in the pipeline for BTR in the near future?
We recently launched our gravity-enduro hardtail offering- the Ranger- which we reckon is sick! We’ve had a couple of custom build orders, one that we handed to the customer just before this went live, and one to be completed soon. So thats something to look out for in the near future. We have a 4x frame in testing at the moment so that will be the next official release when we are happy with it.
We have also put ourselves together a race team, consisting of a 4X rider (Rhys Jenner) and two Rippers (Riley Jenner, Aaron Bennet). Obviously Burf will still be doing some DH on the Belter, and both Burf and Tam will be doing some Enduro’s on the Ranger.

Obviously everyone will want to know when we will be releasing a full sus to the public, and the answer is probably not for a while, unfortunately. We have ideas for one floating around in our heads, but we need to do a lot more planning and testing before one is released into production. However we do offer a custom build service for those who simply cannot wait!
