Peaty’s Bike Bonanza 2015
It’s back. Peaty’s Bike Bonanza is on again for 2015, this coming weekend. Come drink, ride and pick up some bargains.

Peaty’s Bike Bonanza Halloween Weekender
Building on the success of last year’s event Peatys second bike bonanza is expanding to a whole weekend of fun. Come and join Steve Peat for three days of drinking, riding and bargain hunting in the Steel City. Its Halloween weekend so pack your fancy dress as well as your shopping bags.
Shocktoberfest
Friday night’s Shocktoberfest will be a lederhosen slapping, fancy dress wielding, Bavarian Beirkeller style spectacular. The night will start out with a season review of this year’s biking antics with Steel City media cutting together the highlights. There will be chances to win plenty of prizes in Peaty’s Pop quiz and of course extras for the most fabulous fancy dressers. Our thirsts will be quenched by a bevy of bloodcurdling busty Bavarian beer serving beauties. The night will round out in incredible style with Yorkshire’s only Zombie Oompah band who will have us dancing in the aisles, chanting drinking songs and schunkeling our way back to the bar.
Tickets for Steve’s Shocktoberfest are available through Eventbrite and are only 10 quid. Fancy dress is compulsory so get you glad rags on, tear ‘em to pieces and cover them in fake blood. Doors open at 7pm and the fun begins at 8pm. We’re taking over Sheffield’s Kelham Island Museum and they will kick us out at midnight, so the bar will close at 11. It will be a cash bar so please come prepared.
Spooky Ride
Saturday is Halloween proper and what better way to recover than a hell raising ride lead out by Steve himself. More prizes will be given out for the best and spookiest fancy dress ….and we don’t just mean lycra. Follow along as ‘Sheffield Steel’ reveals the local training ground that brought him so many years of success. But watch out… it is Halloween after all… who knows what lurks in Wharncliffe woods around witching hour?
The ride will begin at Farmer Jacks, Hallfield head farm (S35 7DS) at 11am. If you’re driving up it will be 2 quid to leave your car in his field. We’ll be out for a couple of hours around Wharncliffe and Grenoside woods so bring a bike you can peddle and come dressed for the weather.

Bike Bonanza
Sunday is the big Bonanza day. This bargain grabbing extravaganza is even better than last year with more shops, brands and deals to be had. Peaty is taking over Ponds Forge again and as ever stalls are available to shops, pros and the public. Just be sure to book yours quick. It’s only a fiver to get in on the day, but make sure you come early if you want the best bargains.
