Lenzerheide Downhill World Cup Preview
It’s the Lenzerheide World Cup this weekend and we’re expecting the new venue on the WC calendar to be a good one. Check out our preview.
The Downhill track corresponds to the STRAIGHTline in the Lenzerheide Bikepark and was tested in racing mode for the first time at the iXS Swiss Downhill Cup 2014. As a sponsor, downhill legend Steve Peat assisted the Trailworks team in an advisory capacity. High-speed and technical sections, as well as spectacular jumps alternate along the 2.5 km track. The spectacular final section, including the final jump is easily visible from the area around the finish line, whilst various other spectators’ areas are created along the track in striking sections.
