We catch up with Nick from Muc-Off to see what his highs and lows were.

Job Title – Public Relations and Comms Exec at Muc-Off
What does that mean? Basically dealing with the press, speaking to editors and sales guys in different countries. Any questions that need asking, I’m the guy to ask!
High of 2013 so far? Getting this job! I only got it a month ago!
Low point of 2013 so far? Ooh, tough, I dislocated my knee in February playing rugby, that kept me off the bike for a few months.
Highlight of the 2014 line up? I love the Dry Shower – I love stuff that goes beyond the mountain bike market and it means we can deal with mainstream dealers, so yeah, the Dry Shower.
Anything on the way out? It’s not just about your products, it’s all about having a good brand with some personality, you have to show you love the sport.
Best ride of 2013? I went to Barcelona, riding mountain bikes with my dad, that was great.
What’s caught your eye at the show this year? I love the little Rapha stand, and had a nice chat with them.
Where do you get your inspiration from? I dunno, I love it I guess. I think if you love the sport, there’s a beauty of being in an industry where everyone loves what they are doing. When you speak to someone half the time you are chatting about products, and half the time you are chatting about a ride from last week – it doesn’t feel like work all the time!
