After the long journey over we arrived in Fort Bill ready to see what the pro boys and girls thought of the toughest track on the WC circuit.
The start has been re-done with a flat ramp instead of the steep roll in. A popular decision from the riders we spoke to.

Fingers crossed the lifts will keep running all weekend and we won’t be reduced to a short coarse at any point. Rumours are flying about back-up plans being in place to use Jeeps to shuttle to the wall-ride for qualifying if the gondola is down.
New lines in the woods always attract plenty of attention. This new section has a few line choices leading into the drop off the boardwalk.
As the finish arena comes together the clouds are building over Anoch Moor. The forecast isn’t good with rain most of the weekend and strong winds due on Saturday.
Come the weekend the grandstand will be packed and the finish area full, or it should be. Will the weather put people off? We doubt it. One thing is for sure, the die hard fans will still be here making it a great atmosphere whatever the weather.

It’s not all about the big factory team, the Two Two Gravity Racing team of Mathew Stuttard and Nial Oxley with driver, mechanic and dad, Howard Stuttard will be at all the rounds this year racing the carbon Mondraker Summum.
Most of the big teams are set up now with set-ups ranging from the quite modest to the huge factory arrangements like Trek, Lapierre and Polygon.
