It’s the last of our photo epics from Fort William as we get pumped for Leogang.
At the sort of pace Rachel was running at the weekend, we can only imagine how physically knackering that final race run was.
It’s been cold in Fort William, cold, wet and windy. Tracy uses hand warmers on her bars to help her deal with the Scottish summer.
As the finals are taking place the pits becomes a very busy place, the whole show needs dismantling, ready to get on the road to Leogang for the next round this coming weekend.
Gwin Seemed happy enough with a second place here in Fort William as that sees him take the lead in the overall tittle chase

The weather in Fort William might be unpredictable but it usually comes good for the finals… usually.
It’s commonly known that the crowds here in Fort William are some of the best on the circuit. The roar of the spectators as the riders come down through the finish is immense and can be heard half way up the track.
Up and down weekend. Emotions were running high.
Sadly this was the last of the smiles for Team Rideitout’s Emyr Davies. A puncture in Qualification put his weekend to a premature end.
As the last few riders dropped in for their final runs, the top half of the mountain was drying out nicely.
