Eurobike 15 – Day 1.1
Grab a salty croissant and a strong coffee, it’s Eurobike 2015 and we kick things off with demo day in sunny Friedrichshafen.

Tuesday is all about demos. While the finishing touches are being put together on the indoor displays, dealers and journalists take on the ‘mighty’ track. #enduro

The Polygon DH bike is a thing of beauty, the builds are pretty much the same as those run by Mick and Tracy Hannah, and are available in the UK by buying direct from their European distributor.

They do have plans to move into the UK “in due course”, and we can’t wait for that!

The Polygon N Series trail bike bases an XTR build, an XX1 build and a lower spec’d build around a 160mm travel carbon frame.

The geometry and suspension made for a really fun, playful ride.

Masters of the strapline, Chaoyang were present again, but this time with a couple DH tyres that look promising. #pashionforforward

Look beyond the big electric motor on this Haibike DH and there’s an attractively angled and well decked out DH bike.

This year’s big thing, 275+. We took out the Scott Genius and Genius LT for a few laps on the new 3 inch tyres. The Genius LT was one of the our favourite bikes last year, but with the new wheels it felt a bit muted and softened up.

The trail centrey section of super busy singletrack was not the ideal place to really thrash this new wheel size, but it’s going to take a bit more convincing that it’s the one for us!

The Scott Genius. There was a LOT of bright orange going on, no sign of the Gambler on the stand today though…

The Genius LT is a bit more muted, but boasts 170mm of travel to the Genius’ 150mm.

How was the drive down Chris?
