Eurobike 13 – The Making of!

Eurobike is a crazy place. The biggest bike show on the planet. Here’s a sneak peak behind the scenes of Ride.io’s trip…

Rob, Ride.io Director, tucks into a tasty Flunch in Calais. Be sure to visit if you get a chance for questionable meat at reasonable prices

After a looong truck past interesting signs, excellent pizza, sketchy overtakes & apple catch we made it to Friedrichshafen on the shores of the wonderful Lake Constance.

1817

The daily snakes’ wedding of laptops, chargers, and mobile phones. Once the media centre closed around 7pm we would crack on for a bit as the fashion show rehearsed behind.

1822 1821

Every night in the centre is a whirl of meaty foam sandwhiches, full roast leg of creature and plentiful free booze. The good people of ErgoBike were extremely accommodating with a ready supply of refreshments.

1826 1825

Early starts after the night’s refreshments took their toll. As a rule we got by on about 3 hours kip a night, not helped by our enthusiastic home brewing Serbian neighbours. My Alpkit tent proved superb, this summer I’ve spent more time living in it than my house!

Media Breakfast. Plenty of coffee, appletizer, croissants and meaty/cheesy sandwhiches. Oh and salty bread. Yum!

1828

My Luncheon spot on a daily basis for more cheese/meat and breadm and more caffiene. My Lowepro Flipside Sport Office containing all I need to bring you guys the best and rest of Eurobike didn’t leave my side for 4 days solid.

1829

The daily filling of cakes from the wonderful staff of Messe. I could stay and eat their cakes forever.
