Eurobike 13 – Day 2.1

EB13-26

San Francisco brand DZR are known for their urban SPD shoes, but are stepping (excuse the pun) into the MTB market with this model. Available later this year, the sold is reinforced with fibreglass & gives a super stiff platform. The SPD mount has a lot of adjustment for fine tuning your foot position. Our favourite colourway is, of course the black & orange. More on these soon.

EB13-27

This Lifeline by Polish brand Antidote has been floating around the show, with a monocoque carbon front end & swingarm.

EB13-28

Most likely the coolest looking cruiser at the show is this prototype by Garage 271.

EB13-29

The Maxxis Minion is now available in a tubeless ready version, perfect for those die hard fans that have ditched innertubes for good.

EB13-30

After hours, Eurobike is full of parties, where things sometimes get messy. We spotted this amazing Rock Shox leather jacket out & about.

EB13-31

Thanks to Formula for last night’s buffet, mostly consisting of bread, beer, meat & cheese.

EB13-32

No real changes to the Giant Glory 2 except for this matt finish, the Glory 0 remains polished with blue & white graphics.

Yeti have a few new bikes for 2014, but firstly here is a very special SB66 carbon, similar to the on Jared Graves will be using at this weekend’s World Champs.

yeti-303-2014

We love the Yeti 303, most people do. No changes for 2014 though. Talks of carbon, but it’s a long way off yet.

yeti-575

The Yeti 575 is one of two new 275 wheeled bikes by Yeti. 164mm travel and 66 HA with a 160mm fork. The frame will RRP at £1599 and will be available in 4 build options as are most of the bikes. If you want something special though, we bumped into Mountainbike Bitz at the stand getting in their orders for custom builds.

Yeti-SB75

The most talked about bike at Yeti is the new SB75. This alu bike has 140mm travel, is 275 and designed to take a 150-160mm fork. This new bike will be popular.

EB13-33

100Percent have a whole selection of colours & designs in goggles as usual, including this interesting metal studded version.

EB13-34

This road helmet from Lazer is the first of it’s kind with a built in heart rate moniter, it reads via a sensor at the front of the lid, and eliminates the need for a chest mounted HRM.

EB13-35

Manitou have an mattock on their stand, no idea why, but it got us looking & wins our tool of the day award.
