Cycle Show 2017 Part 3- MTB Tandems, New E bikes, Pinner, & more

The last in our adventure touring around the cycle show. Has loads of goodies in here! 2018 is going to be an exciting year… What a time it is to be alive!
Scroll Down to see the weird, and wonderful!

Whoah! A MTB tandem! Rose bikes have made a pimped out tandem, with ENVE wheels, fox 36, and guild brakes. Some peoples worst nightmare?? OR a great tool for marriage counselling??

We must say she’s not the prettiest of beasts. It looks like its been thrown together out of bits of other frames.
Well thats exactly what it is! Finlay Paton threw it together in a shed from warranty returns and exchanges demo frames that had to go in the bin. It was never meant for production or tidy welds. It’s just a bit of fun, great stuff!

But I guess that not many will buy these, and its more of a publicity stunt than anything…. its got you looking at it anyway!

On the complete opposite in terms of quality and time dedicated to build is the BTR Pinner.

Burf and Tam have spent thousands of hours getting the welds perfect and the design perfect.

Steel is Real! And beautiful. This is BTR’s top of the range version of the pinner with Stortia shock.

You can even have your name on the badge if you like. Unreal attention to details.

Renthal had their stems on show, Looking as good as ever.

The Fat Bar has been a game changer since Renthal came into cycling. With a deep heritage in MX, they knew what they were doing and hit the nail on the head right away.Gwinner’s bike was on display at the renthal stand. Looks fast, really fast..Gwin runs Renthal Fatbar Carbon, 30mm rise, 785mm width.

Every one was glad when Gwin Proved that 275 can get the job done. No need to convince the missis for a 29er DH bike, just yet anyway…

Gusset have a whole new range of components out for 2018. We like this saddle a lot!

It’s got grippy rubber pads, so your bum stays in place in the muc, but unlike other brands it doesn’t poke out so much that it marks your arse! “who launches a Dirt Jump bike in 2018??” Identiti thats who!

We like this, Dirt Jumping has hit a bit of a slump compared to what it was. Identity are keen to bring the scene back. And with this sick looking bike, Im sure kids will be saving their pocket money for this, instead of a new phone or playstation.

Identiti also brought back a hardtail they first launched in 2010- The AKA.

Its great to see proper thought being put into a hardtail, with the headangle desinged around the fork in sag and the change in reach through travell.
