We headed to the West Midlands to have a peek at the Cycle Show at the NEC in Birmingham. Check out our first selection of bits and pieces that caught our eye
Did you know these chaps made full suspension mountain bikes?
Bike Hawk had their GPS tracking device on show which neatly sits in your fork steerer. Using a fob, you activate it to say it’s locked up, if it gets moved, you know about it and can track it.
Empires MX6-Evo bike in a brighter colour way than we have seen before.
Fabric have teamed up with Shaun Palmers Intense team and this is their in-your-face lock-on grip displayed on one of their race bikes.
Not many of these were made… This is the hand painted carbon Renthal bar which you may have seen on Gwins World Champs bike this year. Money can’t buy this… sadly.

We had a closer look at the new HT Pedal at Eurobike. Now they are in the UK, this is the AE06, big bad DH pedal with tonnes of pin options.

Tom has been riding the Vitus Dominer over the summer and it’s safe to say that for the money it’s one of the best DH bikes we have ridden recently and wouldn’t be out of it’s depth racing top tracks. For 2016, it’s just got better.
Taking on the proven suspension design of the shorter travel Escarpe and Sommet Vitus bikes, the Dominer now has a true four-bar linkage which in theory, should act much better than its predecessor.
Keeping it simple, it’s available around November in just one build which will set you back £2249 weighing in at 36lbs out of the box with Rockshox suspension, Nukeproof cockpit and Zee groupset.
Ever evolving, the Vitus Sommet now has a carbon front end bringing the full build weight down to just a fraction over 27lbs.
