Core Bike 16 #1
We’ve landed at Core Bike and we’re busy checking what’s new, what’s good, what’s great maybe even what’s not so great. Here’s part 1
Intense had some nice shiny stuff on display including their Tracer 275 enduro beast. Build kit comes in at £2499. Their Pro build Uzzi was catching plenty of attention and comes in just shy of 5k.
The real stunner was the M16C pro build in stealthy black. Dripping with the best money can buy so it’s price tag of £6899 isn’t a surprise.

Lots of new stuff in the pipeline this year from Crank Brothers including their new Candy Pedals with a very nifty removable insert that allows users to tailor the pedal to their own preference. The thicker insert gives more contact where’s the slimmer insert allows for more float.

We really liked the new stamp pedal. Choose the large if you have a big hooves and you won’t ever complain of pedals having too small a platform again. HUGE! Thankfully for the less well endowed they also offer a mid sized platform.

Obligatory cut away showing their beautifully designed axle system. Now with an extra seal to help keep the rubbish out and a self lubricating bearing.

Their new Highline Dropper post looks really smart. Sealed cartridge and icus bearings with a cable actuated maintenance free lever system we reckon this could be a winner.

No shortage of Maxxis rubber on display. Dog agility course in the making.

Fat Bike fat guard anyone?

When you’re spending 2 or 3 grand on a frame you really should invest in some protection to keep it in tip top condition. Definitely worth trying out some Bike Shield. Pretty much invisible but super heard wearing.
More from Core Bike later.
