Borderline Events awarded 2015 National Championships
Borderline Events are proud to announce that they have once again been chosen by British Cycling to host the most prestigious downhill race in the UK, the 2015 National Championships.
After many successful events across the country since 2008, not to mention three out of the last five National Championships, we fully intend make this event bigger and better than ever for you, the riders.

While the venue may be as yet undecided the intention will, as ever, to bring together the best elements of any race; an exciting and challenging course for some close racing and a great event with atmosphere aplenty for both riders and spectators alike. What would you like to see as a rider? If there is anything you wish to see from the event then get in touch.

We always listen to what riders want and while some ideas may be a bit too out there (helicopter uplift anyone?), we do genuinely try to accommodate and learn from all suggestions.
The date for your diary: 18th & 19th July 2015

Who will be the one standing on the top step next year? Can Gee Atherton of GT Factory Racing regain the much sort after Championship jersey or will it be Josh Bryceland of the Santa Cruz Syndicate holding on to it for a second year running? Maybe after a 3rd in 2014 and a 2nd in 2013 it will be Joe Smiths turn from Chain Reaction Cycles / Nukeproof Factory team?
What about the girls? Will Rachel Atherton come out fighting and re-take the crown or will Manon be standing firm? Maybe Katy Curd now firmly back in DH may shake things up or perhaps 2010 National Champion Jess Stone will storm back to the top? For now we will have to wait.
The tragic events of Llangollen have hit us all hard and we again send our heartfelt condolences to those who have been affected by that weekend. Here at Borderline, our passion for organising events helps us continue to put on great events for riders and seek to push racing in the UK at both local and National level and I thank you personally for the kind words from so many of you that I now call friends.
We would like to thank British Cycling for their continued confidence and support for the events we put on and we would like to thank Seven iDP for their support of the 2014 National Championships.

Myself on behalf of the team at Borderline Events would like to thank you for your continued support for all the events we’re involved with.
