Banshee Bikes head to the World Cup with new line up
Banshee Bikes have put together a new team for 2015 to compete in the Downhill World Cup Season. With Matej Charvat and Lewis Buchanan onboard they are not just making up the numbers.
Another addition to the roster will include 2014 Czech Elite Men Downhill National Champion Stanislav Sehnal (CZE) who has scored his top results mainly in his national races, but we all believe that the best is just yet to come.
With that mix of Matej, who has many years experiences of racing at the World Cup circuit, with returning Lewis Buchanan, who brings a complimentary set of racing skills to the team, we anticipate some break out performances.
“I am looking forward to another successful season in which we can continue to achieve our goals and represent our partners. It is my firm belief that recruiting Lewis Buchanan will help us to put the team to even more competitive position.” Matej Charvat, the founder and rider of Banshee Bikes Factory Team.
“I am super happy to have the chance to make it back on to the World Cup scene after not being able to get to any in 2014. I look forward to working with the new team and opening a new chapter in my racing career and starting a fresh. I have rode the bike for some time now and I am already loving it with the changes we have made in testing. Things are going good and we’ll see how it goes come April I guess,” said Lewis Buchanan.
The team will be targeting the whole World Cup circuit, IXS downhill cup rounds, urban downhill races as well as National Championships and the other interesting international races.
