Waza! Devans! I bet I wouldn't recognise either of you now but I'm sure we had more than a few real life run ins in the past. Fantastic on moving to Vancouver. Would still like to do it myself. Seems the forum has been attacked by spam bots and no idea if anyone is around to fix it :(

Gonna keep bumping this like a lone voice in the wind, just in case anyone else happens by through the mess of bots.

If enough of us keep on posting maybe it will come back from the dead? I'm sure it could be resurrected.

*waves* I've got back on the bike after..... a long ass time.   Didn't help living in a country with no elevation for years.  A 29er trail/enduro bike feels huge compared to my old 224...

I've literally just got back on my bike in the last week due to a LONG period of ill health and just come back here today, what happened? I still recognise a lot of the names here though.

Also what the hell happened to bikes? I know 8-9 years ago my old 222 was considered a vintage item but it looks like literally everything on it is obsolete now! Pringling a rim looks like it's going to retire the frame, that's quite upsetting.

If this does come back to life it will make me very happy...

Holy f**king s**t. I don't know what made me think of this place again but it's great to see this thread. Can't believe I'm still a mod ;D As above snowboarding is about the only kind of 'extreme' I get these days. Haven't ridden a downhill bike in anger in years. Any of the 2005/2006 Morzine crew still around? Who's looking after the hosting of this site now? Is there still any sort of downhill scene in the UK? Everyone I used to ride with grew up and got trail bikes it seems. More interested in riding up them hills than down 'em. Bizzare.

To anyone reading this in the future, if we ever had the good fortune of meeting one another, I hope you're doing well. Downhill, Morzine, this place - Still the best years of my life :)

If you are referring to a specific group you went with in 2005/06 then that's not me, but I went in '04, 05 and 06, so if you are talking generally, then... hola!
