World Cup #1 Lourdes – Pit Bits Day 2

We decided to go for another mission around the Lourdes pits to see what else we could find. Pit Bits round 2

Will Gwin be holding the number 1 plate come season end?
Bruni will be wanting to do what Gwin couldn’t with the Demo – making it a World Cup winning machine.
Loving those bumpers. Like little pillows.
The Specialized set-up definitely had the attention of the fans.
Deathgrip. Plenty of that going at Lourdes. Bren’s death grips are a super soft compound which will be available to us mere mortals soon. Keep your eyes out for the Deathgrip – Sunday Bests. He’ll also be releasing some signature bars within the next month.

ALEXANDRE FAYOLLE is running a lock out device on his shock, not that it’s needed here in Lourdes, but still, it’s an interesting development. Alex and his mechanic built it a few months ago.  We’re sure that Alex has fond memories of the pedal in Cairns, this nice little shifter lock out will make it a lot easier! The lock out has only a fully-on and fully-off switch, you sure wouldn’t want to get em mixed up!

Troy’s Canyon Sender

Every wanted to check out the new Canyon Teams Set-up. We headed over to take a closer look at Troy’s Canyon Sender

Troy runs SRAM Guide levers paired up with Code Calipers.
Troy runs a 5-centimeter Renthal stem with 38-mil’ rise, and 740-millimeter-width bars.
According to Canyon the MX Link rear suspension delivers more traction. Coil Shock front and rear too.
Running HT pedals – the X2 models.
The Drivetrain is a stock SRAM, seven-speed drivetrain with a custom rounded lever and gritted pad
