Eurobike – The Highs & Lows Of Being Media
Looking back at spending three long days inside, at one of the biggest cycle shows in the world, we look at the highs and lows of being media at Eurobike –
High

Lots of quality, free coffee.
Low

The need to drink too much free coffee.
High

The chance to get up close to special bikes like these world cup one-offs.
High

Getting to try new things, this was a rather random bitter cola drink. Really quite odd.
Low

Keeping track of meetings and having to get from one end of the show to the other between them.
High

Meeting and talking to cycling celebs like Danny Mac here, just chilling out on the Crank Brothers stand.
High

The after-show parties, this one was particularly entertaining.
Low
Getting up early the next morning to get on with work. This was me, first in the media area, at 06.55.
High

Lots of new beers to try. It’s compulsory.
Low

Travelling. This was one bus and three trains to get back to Munich, then the plane back to Manchester.
