Eurobike 16 – e*thirteen

e*thirteen were showing off a new cable operated TRS+ dropper post.  Cable routing is stealth only, and the only travel option is 150mm.  It is available in 30.9mm or 31.6mm diameters, so compatibility shouldn’t be an issue.   The post focuses on reliability, using a coil spring instead of air.  It offers four stopping positions, at 0, 75, 110, and 150mm. Weight is 590g.

The neat little trigger will be supplied with self-adhesive grip patches instead of the embossed e*thirteen logo seen here; that’s what their team riders did, so that’s what they’ll make.  The cable is a standard gear cable, so no servicing issues there.

Along with the new dropper, e*thirteen were showing TRS chain devices with a much smaller upper guide.  This is to improve compatibility with frames, and reduce the chance of the cage being hit and dropping the chain.
