Gloworm X2 Adventure Light – First Look
I was really impressed with NZ brand Gloworm’s X1 and XS lights last winter. Reliable, weather proof and with a great range of mounting options meant they were my go-to lights. The programmable modes and reliable batteries just sweetened the deal.
The X2 sits in the middle of the range, throwing out an impressive 1500 lumens for 1.5 hours. For 2016 the X2 gets an upgraded 2 cell battery making it light enough to mount on a helmet using the supplied GoPro mount. All of the features that made the rest of the Gloworm range so good are on the X2 including a crazy lightweight head unit – at 80g you barely notice it on your head!
