Cube Stereo 160 Race – First Look
We’ve been waiting quite a while to try the new Stereo 160 and now we have one. We’ve been making the most of some Spring (albeit late) weather and turning up the Stereo
I’ve tried the 140 before and that was a little too much of an XC/trail centre bike for my tastes. While the 140 is still a fun and able bike, this 160 with a little more travel, a longer wheel base and relaxed head angle, is more my cup of tea.

“Our brand new Stereo 160 27.5 is packed with the latest technology. It’s all that the keen enduro rider will ever need”
Cube.

Initial thoughts are great, it’s a playful bike and feels instantly more capable than its little brother, the 140. Personally, I’m not sure it needs the double chainring up front. I think I would probably loose the granny ring if it was my choice. Now the trails are drying out, I’m going to be out riding more and more. Keep a look out for a more in-depth review on it’s way shortly.
