Each morning starts with a routine. Lots of strong coffee from the wonderful media room staff, questionable pastries and a battle to get on the haphazard internet. Here Andrew from The Bicycle Academy demonstrates the ins and outs of 8am Euroland.

Kore have added a bunch of saddles to their line up. The Fuze II is medium thickness while the Fuze III is a bit thicker. There’s a Fuze I in the pipeline as well with reduced bulk and padding. They’ve also been playing with a range of colours for the bases and making use of the same technology as a few other saddle brands to keep the clean lines around the edges.

35mm clamps are making their way to the rest of the range of bars.

The seatpost we couldn’t really see last year is nearly ready at last, just a few last tweaks to the head.

The head design has some neat features that allow you to make your adjustments easily with bulky allen keys.

Not only is Stronghold an excellent name for a beer, it’s a super effective patented design that holds the chain yet releases perfectly without chain suck. All the usual sizes and mounting options.

The Nukeproof Pulse dripping in limited edition Sam Hill parts and a custom colourway. There was also chat of carbon DH rims and a new Mega. Watch this space…

Another Dave Weagle creation, the Evil Insurgent. With marketing specific wheels, shredfit geometry and two settings for the linkage (Low and Extra Low). Both settings give slack- as head angles (65.6 and 64.8 degrees respectively) and low bbs around the 334mm mark for the extra low.

Change the linkage and go from Low to Extra-Low… nice.

Clean lines and an integrated stiffener/chain guide.

The insurgent looks like a trail destroying weapon of a bike, hopefully we can grab a ride on one soon.

Iron horse were back showing a bunch of supermarket bikes and a couple of 6Point build options with a not-quite DW linkage. Lips were pretty sealed about a new DH bike, but who wouldn’t want a new Sunday! Yes Please!

The Urge Enduromatic II is a re-imagining of their game changer enduro lid from a few years ago. Made from predominantly recycled materials it has improved venting along the top and a flexible peak.

A BOA retention system has been added to the rear and while coverage remains full around the back there is a cut in to improve how the helmet meets a bag.

As well as this standard version for about 150Euro there will be a MIPS version for about 200Euro. The standard version weighs in at 349g.

The new carbon Saracen Myst was on display and looking fast. There’s a full launch at Worlds next week, but the German distributors couldn’t resist showing it off.
