Steve Peat Syndicate at Ard Rock Enduro

The Steve Peat Syndicate head to one of the UK’s toughest Enduro Challenges.

The weekend just gone was the Ard Rock enduro in Swaledale Dale, which saw over 1300 riders head to North Yorkshire for one of the UK’s biggest enduro races. With five timed stages and over 45km of riding to be done this is one epic weekend of riding, on some of the best trails this area has to offer. Saturday’s practice gave us an idea of what was to come over the rest of the weekend, and to say we were excited was definitely an understatement. Only being allowed to practice two of the stages on Saturday was great fun as it meant there wasn’t much too remember for Sunday’s race, and we could just ride the rest of the stages as they come. For me this was the first time I had done a race where you don’t know what was around the next corner, and this was what made the weekend so good as it was a challenge to stay smooth and consistent throughout the stages.
