At the iXS Swiss Downhill Cup on 26 / 27th July 2014, the STRAIGHTline was first tested in racing mode. In addition to the Swiss downhill pilots, international world cup riders Brendan Fairclough, Joseph Connell, Bryn Dickerson, Tim Bentley and of course track building advisor Steve Peat used the Swiss Cup to get a first impression of the new World Cup track. Cold and wet weather, temperatures in the lower double-digit range and fog ensured difficult conditions and a good amount of mud. Steve Peat’s conclusion on the track is in the video.
