Core Bites – Marzocchi Dropper Post
They kept us waiting for this one but it was worth the wait. The new Dropper Post from Marzocchi looks pretty special.

We were really impressed with Marzocchi’s new Stealth Dropper Post. Hydraulic with an internal cartridge and controlled by a wire remote, it was evident that ease of use and maintenance had been really thought about carefully. The Wire remote means that removing the post from your bike is super easy as the cable simply detaches from the post. It also means that in the case of a failure the post will just stay up.

The post stanchion is coated in Marzocchi’s Espresso coating, which looks amazing and also means it can be perfectly matched up if you run Marzocchi forks.

The lever is really neat and has a really good ergonomic feel. Maintenance shouldn’t be something you will need to think about too often as the post that was on display at the show has already run up 85 hours of run time and has so far been flawless with no play.

None Stealth Version
Our favourite feature is the ability to easily tailor the position of the post. The moment you take your finger off the lever the post will stop where it is rather than just a ‘fully-up’ or ‘fully-down’ position. Price wise it’s really competitive with the Stealth version coming in at £259 and the none stealth at around the £230 mark.
