The Cycle Show 2014 – Randoms #2

E-Bike and Fat bikes seemed to be a running theme this year. E-Bikes particularly had a dominant presence. We and it seems many others at the show are still unsure about their place.

Interestingly when the legalities of e-bikes on mountain bike trails were discussed the standard response seemed to be a shrug of the shoulders. The tech is certainly becoming more refined and KTM certainly seem keen to push them. With Danny Mac becoming the official ambassador for the KTM FREERIDE E, we can certainly expect to see more of electric powered Bicycles and off road Motorbikes.
