UCI DH World Cup – Méribel – Preview
Well, we’re at the last stop on the World Cup Circus already and what a season it has been, so what could be a better way to finish than a Ratboy with a championship?
After setting off from a height of 1980 metres, situated at the same level as the water tank, the stopwatch begins and the riders start the race, which is 2150 metres long and has a 550 metre height differential. In Méribel, winter and summer are interchangeable, and as a result a competitive spirit prevails in both seasons. It is for this reason that the last part of the track is found in the Roc de Fer stadium; a venue in which the elites taking part in the Alpine Ski World Cup will also compete from the 18th to the 22nd March 2015.
