Eurobike 13 – Suntour RUX DH Fork
The Rux is their 200mm DH fork, and it offers a really promising package.
The forks feature RC2 damping – high and low speed compression, and rebound damping. They are also looking at producing an R2C2 fork in the future. Developed over 3 years, Suntour are keen to boost their reputation and have been testing extensively with their team including Garett Buehler, so it’s fair to say they will have had some sturdy abuse.
38mm stantions give the fork a solid look.
Tuneable progression curve – by adding spacers and reducing the volume in the air side of the fork you increase the progression of the fork. Not rocket science but a cunning solution!
Total weight – 2.9kg
The forks went into production a week ago and are due in the UK in roughly October.
The RRP was quoted at 999Euro, with no news on a UK price yet.

Just had a text to say that we will be getting a set to test – as soon as we have more info we will pop it up. 999Euro is about £850 – more than a Boxxer RC2, but much less than the World Cup, – the 38mm stantions add c. 200g to the mass.
The guys at SR were really keen to stress that this is worlds apart from some of their other work – it’s an exciting development so I’m buzzing to get them on the bike!
