You voted in your droves, and as they say, the results have been collated and independently verified…. the winners are…
2012 was a great year for sport, and a great year for Ride.io. The Readers’ Awards represent your selections of bikes, riders and media that have made 2012. The results are in full below, and keep heading to the homepage as we catch up with the winners to take a closer look at what makes them so awesome.
Taking the crown for 2012 was the Santa Cruz V10c.
The trail bike of 2012, as voted by you was the Nukeproof Mega.
Hardtail of the year goes to the super-versatile Stanton Slackline.
The bike you would buy straight off the shelf is the YT Industries Tues Ltd WC.
The product we are all clamoring to get on our bikes is the Shimano Clutch Derailleur.
Best new enterprise goes to two chaps in a shed making rad bikes – BTR Fabrications.
The best online video of 2012 is awarded to Martyn Ashton – Road Bike Party.
Race edit of the year goes to the super hard working Orpheous Productions/DirtTV with their coverage of the Hafjell WC.
The young-un to watch is GT/Atherton Racing rider Taylor Vernon.
Rider of the year was the unstoppable force of Mr Aaron Gwin.
The World Cup circuit wouldn’t be the same without this year’s winner, the Fort William round of the UCI DH World Cup.
